Montreal mayor supports high fines for illegal short term rentals, adds 'devil is in the details'

At some point after Quebec Tourism Minister Caroline Proulx tabled invoice 25, aimed toward strengthening short-term vacationer rental legal guidelines, Montreal Mayor Valerie Plante says she's on board. “To me, I really like the initiative. I feel this can be a nice concept,” stated Plante Wednesday, reserving her full help forward of the invoice's passing, including “the satan is within the particulars.”
