Greater than 800 livestock have been briefly relocated in Quebec's Abitibi-Témiscamingue area to guard them from devastating forest fires. Livestock at six giant farms and a number of other farmhouses within the area have been evacuated up to now, confirmed Pascal Rheault, president of the Union of Agricultural Producers (UPA) of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, on Thursday afternoon.
