Quebecers are listening to less local music, musicians hope streaming bill will help

Members of Quebec's music business say they hope a federal invoice will turn out to be regulation and assist them get extra listens on streaming platforms. Quebec's statistics institute says native artists in 2022 accounted for lower than eight per cent of performs on streaming platforms similar to Spotifiy, YouTube and Google Play Music.
