Ukrainian refugee, 7, dies in hit-and-run; Montreal-area man charged

A person has been charged following the dying of a seven-year-old woman in Montreal who died after she was struck by a car whereas strolling to high school Tuesday together with her siblings. The woman has been recognized as Maria Legenkovska, a Ukrainian refugee who got here to Canada simply two months in the past after her household fled the Russian invasion in Ukraine.
