Hydro-Quebec allegedly violated the Environmental Quality Act

Hydro-Quebec is dealing with seven expenses for violating the Environmental High quality Act in a 120-kilovolt (kV) transmission line challenge within the Laurentians. The Director of Legal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP) served seven statements of offence on the Crown company final December, following an investigation carried out by the Surroundings and Local weather Change Ministry (MELCCFP) over the previous few years.
